Welcome Race Fans....
This is a great time for our team and the association. This years racing calendar has been updated, new committee members introduced and a great things happening it will be a year to remember. It all kicks off at Cobram and Tooradin will be the finale. A new Tri Series Championship will be introduced. This includes Cowwarr, Stony Creek and Tooradin.
So when it comes to racing "Ride-On Lawnmowers" you cant go past the MowTec Racing Team.
We are one of many teams that race apart of the Australian Ride-On Lawn Mower Racing Association.(A.R.O.L.M.R.A.)
We race for fun and have a great time doing this very unique sport.
Dont be fooled into thinking that lawn mower racing is just a backyard sport. With 8 to 10 meetings a year and a committed following of many other members. The racing is spirited to say the least.....Champions are made and ego's are broken, but keep it in mind....a heap of fun is had by all... Along the season I will be updating this site with new pics/vid's ete
So keep an eye out. Hope you enjoy it all and we hope to see you at a race sometime...
Channel 10's RPM came down to sample our mower racing, and had a blast doing so. I have also uploaded another new vids from Cobram as well. Have a look in the "LAWN MOWER RACING VIDEOS" section.
Berrigan is the next race on the calendar. Hopefully Team Mowtec will be there to give the opposition hell as usual. It will be held on Sunday September 14th. All enquiries should be directed to David Collins on (03)58852872.
Deni Ute Muster is offering us The AROLMRA some time to play and demonstrate at the festival with our mowers, it will be only a couple of hours each morning and then your free to do as you please for the day. If you are interested in coming along on the 3rd and 4th of October 2008 please contact Nathan Morgan on Fugarwinate@hotmail.com
Maryborough has been planned in October and Lascelles has moved into the first weekend in November. So have a look in the calender and make sure you get down to them.
Cowwarr is well into planning again for another meeting. It has been locked in at December 6th. I suggest everyone getting down there to support the great people of Cowwarr and the event that raises vital funds for the local CFA. This year promises to be bigger and better than last year, with plenty of surprises in store, for the crowd and especially for the drivers themselves. Any enquiries regarding Cowaarr call Shane on 0422411861.
Just a little reminder that this website is an un-official website of AROLMRA.
